The Business Analyst Internship Program is dedicated to driving strategic change and business performance through hiring, training, and supporting high caliber college graduates.

OVERVIEW

There are opportunities for top undergraduate students to join Sears Holdings and drive results in a fast-paced environment. As a member of the Business Analyst Internship Program you will be matched into a business unit focusing on a finance, online, brand or marketing project-based role in addition to supplement professional development through various activities, leadership discussions and mentoring. As a Business Analyst Intern you are responsible for developing insights from data and translating those insights into initiatives that drive business impact for Sears Holdings Corporation.

OPPORTUNITY SUMMARY  >>

Our internship opportunity is 10-weeks in duration. As an intern, you will be assigned a project that has direct business impact. The internship opportunity will also allow you to receive the following:

  • Positive, Can-do Attitude: Commitment to self-improvement and excellence.
  • Strong Business Acumen: Strong financial, strategic, operational, and leadership skills; ability to quickly understand business models and key drivers.
  • Communication & Organizational Skills: Confidence to interact with senior management and maturity to succeed through teamwork; willingness to learn from and coach others; excellent Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel skills; ability to manage projects and work effectively under tight deadlines.
  • Focused on Results: Willingness to do whatever necessary to deliver on objectives.

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES  >>

  • Analysis: Collaborates with departments across the organization to develop insights based on data analysis. This includes gathering data and developing thoughtful, robust business analyses, as well as analyzing issues, developing insights and formulating data-based hypotheses.
  • Team Work: Demonstrates the ability to lead small groups of individuals in support of specific initiatives, fosters teamwork, and works well in a collaborative team environment.
  • Project Management: Establishes and manages timelines, resource needs, costs and risks associated with project completion as well as prepare recommendations for financial business cases and presentations for senior management.
