POSITION SUMMARY
You’ll get hands-on experience right where the action is -- learning store operations, current processes and practices, strategic project implementation, cost analysis as well as gaining insight into the overall project management function. This 12-week assignment is designed to give you a feel for the retail industry and the culture of Sears Holdings. This position provides a good foundation for many future positions at Sears Holdings. Associates learn how project management in store operations is researched, developed and implemented throughout the store locations; they gain a wealth of knowledge across a number of different assignments within the store operations function.

RESPONSIBILITIES >>
Our interns spend their time working in our corporate office, seeing first-hand what goes into a successful retail business. You will be assigned specific projects throughout the 12-week internship. You will learn how to analyze current processes, provide reporting and measurement metrics and make recommendations on appropriate implementation strategies. As a member of the project management team in store operations, your goal will be to assist in developing and monitoring store communications to ensure successful project implementation. Your internship will include formal and informal evaluations, which will allow you to apply what you’ve learned in the classroom in a business setting. Upon successful completion of your internship, you may receive an offer to join our Project Management – Store Operations Organization.
