OVERVIEW

We are focused on hiring the best and brightest talent, and developing this talent rapidly through accelerated career paths. As part of this effort, we launched the Senior Leadership Program (SLP) in 2006. This program is designed to recruit highly talented MBAs from top universities and develop as interns in a 10-week summer program. SLP Interns must be willing to be an active participant in the day to day operations including the ability to roll up his or her sleeves and be an active participant in the day-to day operations. SLP Interns must also be willing to take on a number of different roles within their job and act as a catalyst for change. The SLP interns should be solutions oriented, detailed, and analytical. We expect the interns of the SLP program help lead the strategic efforts of our company.

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES  >>

  • Planning: Develop realistic plans, action steps, accountabilities and timetables for projects and assignments. Meet deadlines and produce high-quality work; take pride in your own work and responsibility for mistakes. Be proactive and take ownership for ensuring the right actions are taken and results achieved. Quickly take constructive action at work with little or no direction from others. Take the lead in performing tasks or promoting innovative ideas or work methods.
  • Project Management: Establish and manage timeline, resource needs, costs and risks associated with project completion. Accomplish tasks while demonstrating concern for all areas involved, no matter how small; show concern for all aspects of the job; accurately check processes, tasks and work output. Be well-organized and thorough in approach. Multi-task, follow through on open issues, and ensure that nothing is overlooked.
  • Analysis: Use analytical techniques to improve decision making: modeling, situation analysis and problem diagnosis, and results/operations analysis. Break down and critically analyze complex problems to find root causes and efficient solutions. Evaluate systems and processes to make improvements. Evaluate results of projects as necessary.
  • Development: Develop strategies to gain support on business initiative recommendations.
