Sears Holdings Corporation (SHC) usually has thousands of positions available. Most jobs are posted on our Careers Site (www.searsholdings.com/careers) along with a variety of other third-party online job boards we partner with to further advertise our employment opportunities.

However, we've had reports of fictitious, fraudulent, inaccurate and misleading employment advertisements that are being sent via e-mail to individuals, posted online and published in various print media publications. We've also had reports of unsolicited job offer e-mails being sent to individuals that are also fictitious, fraudulent, inaccurate and misleading.

These unauthorized employment advertisements are quite authentic looking and even include our company's logo. Often times they also require a candidate to provide banking information (e.g. credit card account numbers, checking account numbers, etc.) in order to apply for a job or to accept a job offer.

SHC takes our candidates' private information seriously. We neither require candidates to provide this information, nor do we require our candidates to pay in order to apply for a position or to accept an offer of employment. We also do not extend job offers via e-mail to individuals with whom we've had no prior contact.

We sincerely regret that anyone may be deceived by these fraudulent employment advertisements and/or job offers; however we will not honor them in any way.

You should not respond to these advertisements and/or job offers by revealing personal information, nor should you provide any of your banking information.
