ANET was started in 1999 to fulfill the need of a communication channel for the growing community of Asian associates at Sears Holdings. The main goal of ANET since then has been to provide a two-way channel between Sears Holdings and its diverse associates. We want to provide networking opportunities, mentoring, and assistance in every way to new and existing associates. We also want to assist leaders at Sears Holdings in understanding Asian business practices and cultures. In today’s age of globalization, it is very important for all of us to build and align diverse teams.
