KMART DONATES TO THE AMERICAN RED CROSS TO ASSIST IN RELIEF EFFORTS IN MINNESOTA

TROY, Mich. - Kmart Corporation today announced a $5,000 cash donation to the American Red Cross to assist with relief efforts resulting from the tornado that hit southern Minnesota on Sunday.

"Kmart Corporation presents this donation to the American Red Cross to assist in relief efforts resulting from the devastating tornado that swept through Minnesota," said Shawn Kahle, Kmart's Vice President, Corporate Affairs. "As a corporate citizen, it is our responsibility to assist affected communities. Working with the American Red Cross ensures that these communities will receive the assistance they need to rebuild during these difficult times."
