KMART DONATES TO THE AMERICAN RED CROSS
TO ASSIST IN RELIEF EFFORTS IN TENNESSEE
TROY, Mich. – Kmart Corporation today announced a $25,000 cash donation to the American Red Cross to help with relief efforts in Tennessee as a result of yesterday’s devastating tornadoes.
"On behalf of our 15 Kmart stores in the counties affected by yesterday’s tornadoes, Kmart presents this donation to the American Red Cross," said John Valenti, Vice President, Southern Region. "Just as we are proud to be a part of the communities we serve on a daily basis, we strongly believe it is our responsibility to lend a helping hand during times of need."
